Scandium is a “between” type handle that helps bridge the gap between the C405 and the Titanium handles.  It is a very lightweight handle that has a pretty good strength to weight ratio and it is STX’s lightest handle that we carry.  We like the feel of this Scandium handle.  It almost “sings” when you run your hand down the side and it has a good, indented grip with rounded edges.  The negative to Scandium handles in general is that they simply FEEL more brittle than other handles and it almost feels as though you could snap it in your hand. They don't necessarily break any more than any other handle, however.

Recommended for High School – Adult players looking for a lightweight handle with a good strength to weight ratio.
