Brine Clutch Superlight X

The Clutch X Superlight uses the gas-injected technology to make a feather light version of the Brine Clutch. This head is legal for NFHS and NCAA play. This head weighs only about 115 grams. REALLY LIGHT!

The sidewalls are straight up and down. There is no flare in at the bottom like there is in the Clutch 2. It is more in line with the original Clutch first made in 2007, and that has been a very popular choice for the offensive minded laxer ever since.

The scoop design features recessed holes. The throat appearance is identical to the Clutch Superlight. This head is pretty much the Clutch as usual, but the gas injection makes it incredibly light, and, again, there are several things that make it a little different from the Clutch 2, so when choosing any Clutch in 2011, be sure to know which gear you are in to get a head that matches the exact kind of performance that you are looking for.

We recommend the Clutch X Superlight for attackmen, offensive minded players looking for the ultimate in light. The Clutch head design generally sets up well for the higher pocket style, and this one is no different in that respect.

SCOOP RATING - Above average. The scoop angle is steep, good for picking up grounders. The blade flattens out nicely on the ground for efficient scoopability.

STRINGING - All the Clutches have lots of holes for the max in stringing options.

STIFFNESS - This is not a stiff head.

ROCK-IT POCKET LEATHER: - Our leathers are 100% real hide, which is durable and resistant to water. These leathers are strong and do not sag in humid conditions.

ROCK-IT POCKET & MESH MATERIALS: - We use a high quality nylon string for the middle part of our Rock-it Pockets and the sidewall/trim of our mesh pockets.

LACES: - Jima Lax supplies us with colored hockey laces we use on our mesh pockets. These laces can be used on Rock-it Pockets, but we recomend our high quality (default) laces that come only in white.

MESH MATERIAL: - We carry a variaty of hard, soft, 6 diamond, goalie hard and goalie 12 diamond mesh. These are the most common types of mesh used in the game.

For ROCK-IT POCKETS ONLY!! Leathers are white by default. No leathers in mesh pockets!

Extra Hockey Laces:

Extra laces will be enclosed with your order for you to string later. These can be used if you have another head/pocket that needs new shooting laces.

NFHS or NCAA:

By default, our pockets are all strung to meet all regulation for the NFHS (high school and bellow). If you play in NCAA (college) please state so in the special instructions box below and we will make the small adjustment to make it legal for your regulations.
