The Brine Eraser is Brine's new goalie head in 2007. It is extremely wide and our pocket doesn't fit in it as well as we would like. There are a lot of good qualities to the head, however. For one, it has a lot of stringing holes, which gives us more options. Also, the handle at the throat forms a good place for the top hand to sit.

For lack of a better description, this head reminds us of a combination between the Warrior Nemesis and the STX Eclipse, especially from the side. While the Nemesis comes forward, the Eclipse goes backwards. The Eraser almost does both, coming off-set near the throat and then tapering back on-set near the scoop.

The head is extremely wide, from the top to the bottom of the head. This makes our stringing style difficult because pulling the mesh all the way to the sides will form a bowl, not a channel. Frankly, we are not a big fan of the way the pocket forms in this head and there may be some major adjustments for each player to get it the way they like it. The Nemesis is just a much easier stick to string. However, with all the string holes, players will be able to tinker around and get this pocket more to their liking after some time.

Overall, the Eraser is a good attempt by Brine, but it's hard to improve much upon the Eclipse and Nemesis.
