New in 2008, the Brine Franchise is the latest from a company that is still churning out solid products year after year. The Franchise builds slightly from the popular Clutch model and has the overall look of a potentially great head. More offset than curved, this head may tend to have some extra whip, no matter which pocket it uses. This is a Brine trend and truthfully, the Franchise is very similar to the old Cybers and the new Cyber Pro. Weighing 143 grams, the Franchise is fairly light, mostly thanks to a multitude of stringing holes across the top of the scoop and down each sidewalls. There are 13 holes up top, giving plenty of options for stringing mesh or leathers. Similarly, the sidewalls are tressled and this stick should be fully customizable. Brine's signature flat scoop is apparent in this head, which also features a thin front face, but a wider area on the back. The effect of this is to help keep the ball in the head without being illegal on back measurements. The "comeback" for the Franchise is fairly low in the head, which means the pocket will naturally sit higher.
