The Motive was another in the long line of Brine's heads from 2003/2004. It is very sturdy and it seems to hold up pretty well. Since it is more curved than it is offset and the scoop comes back to the same plane as the throat, this head won't have the same offset feel to it that the E3 does. It could be a very good head for defensemen since it is so tough.
With a relatively tame scoop and not much pinch, this head is certainly not as radical as a lot of Brine's newer heads. While not fully offset, the Motive will still have a good feel, especially on a longpole. It's not the lightest of heads, but for its size, it is certainly not bulky.
