The Diesel is not approved for NCAA play, but it is allowed at NFHS. Its very deep sidewalls are what set this head apart.
In terms of shape, the Diesel is a straight set stick with no off-set. This is a rare in today's age of stick technology, but the Diesel attempts to make up for its lack of off-set with its deep sidewalls that are approaching 2". Similar to the Torque and some other Gait heads, the Diesel has a nice array of sidewall holes to protect the stringing and take out weight. We think that Gait does the best job of any other company in protecting stringing without using Warrior's step back patent.
This head is pretty flexible, thanks to its wide open sidewalls. We recommend it to high school players and those who may not like the off-set style of head.
