Gait&r's Thrust 2.0 is a remake of 2007&r's Thrust. Since the company scrapped their TOS for 2009 and beyond, the Thrust 2.0 is meant to take over the market of the original&r's beginner and entry-level Gait models. There is a slightly new shape to this head overall, but the concept remains the same.

The Thrust 2.0 also has much the look and contour of its brothers, the Mutant and the Toxic. There are plenty of holes on the bottom of the sidewall. The Mutant, the Toxic and the Thrust 2.0 all have different set ups for the stringing holes, and that could affect which one of these three you might choose.

Simply put, this is a great head for entry-level play, but it won&r't hold up to the rigors of higher competition. Don&r't forget that this head comes with a handle - the Z09 Zirconium. This is an awesome gift from Gait and the handle will likely outlast the head for many players. It has a nice, soft feel and is valued on the “streets” at $59.
