The Gait Toxic was first made in 2009 and has a relatively basic head shape. It is a decent head for the price. Gait markets the Toxic&r's “Drop-V Scoop” which helps channel the pocket and recessed lace channel on the back of the scoop to protect the stringing. The head also has a traditional off-set design. The side view of the Toxic is similar to the 2009 Mutant. It is off-set, but with perhaps a tiny curve coming back towards the throw on the top/scoop of the head. Really, the Toxic is the Mutant without the finger grip and a very different hole in the wall system. It weighs 150 grams empty, so it&r's not the lightest head on the market. The Toxic has miniature holes on the scoop, so it&r's mesh-centric like many Gait heads now. This head also resembles the Fuel in its curvature, though not quite as pronounced.
