A new edition from Harrow in 2007, the Turret is a progression from the H2 and continues to show that the company is serious about competing in the head market. With a less severe off-set and smoother shape in general, the Turret won't feel as clunky as the H2.
One thing Harrow is a little behind with is their weight. The Turret feels heavy when held in the hand, but it is also sturdy and strong. This head should be a pretty good choice for advanced defensemen who don't mind a pinched head. The pinch of this head resembles the STX Primer in that it forms almost an hourglass shape.
From our experience, heads like this will generally grab the ball and send it up towards the scoop. The Dog pocket will be a good choice for this head. Overall, Harrow's Turret is a nice advancement and receives high marks from us in just about every area except for weight. It is stylish as well, another step forward from the H2.
