STX Proton Plus

The Proton Plus is the "legal" version of the original STX Proton, which was one of the best all-time selling heads in STX's history. It uses STX's forward cant to create a groove in the middle of the stick for the ball to sit in. It has very thick sidewalls as well.

This head is still great for defensemen and those who do not like the new-school pinched heads. While the Proton Plus has given way in terms of technology to many newer models, it is a great selling head for a reason. Durability and sturdiness make this head a good buy. It is also a good choice for beginners.

Head Dye Options:

Choose a dyed head with 1 or 2 colors on white. Be sure to specify the dye color(s) and style you want!

HEAD DYES VOID ALL MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES!

Color 1 = Top, Left or Inside portion
Color 2 = Bottom, Right or Outside portion

String Dye Options:

Choose dyed strings with 1 or 2 colors on white. Be sure to specify the dye color(s) you want!

Color 1 = Middle Strings
Color 2 = Shooting Strings (Top)
Note that we do not dye the side strings connecting to the middle of the pocket at this time.
We do not offer colored mesh pieces or hockey laces at this time. Colored strings on mesh orders are for the strings connecting the mesh to the head itself only.
Extra Laces:

Select 1 to 5 extra hockey laces at $1 each. Extra laces will be enclosed with your order for you to string later.
