| The Proton Power is the third incantation of the Proton line. It is a radical change from the rest of the Protons, and that is most evident in the throat, where there are only two holes for leathers to come through. We have had to adjust our stringing style on this head and we only send the middle two of our four tracking leathers in this head. It also has a built in "shock absorbing" ball stop in the throat that is a cool new feature for padding catches. While this new head is very pinched, it is a very good choice for advanced attackmen. It's lightweight and the availability of sidewall stringing holes make it popular. With a sharp off-set, this head is great for holding the ball and making crisp passes and shots. We don't like the Proton Power for defensemen, mostly because the head is so compact and flexible. It does function pretty well for attackmen, however. The overall shape of the Proton Power is great.
