Mouseover/Click to Enlarge		 The Cobra X meets NCAA and NFHS specifications. It is legal for use at all levels of play. It is virtually identical to the Cobra save for two things. First, of course, the width of the throat opening when measured across is 2010 rule-change-legal and makes the 3" minimum with ease. It is a head that should always pass the NCAA legal X test with ease, too, because it does not even flirt with illegal in any of its dimensions. This is not trivial because there is nothing trivial about a three minute penalty on your team and having your stick taken from the game, never to return because it failed any of the measuring tests conducted by the person wearing stripes.

The other difference is that the Cobra X carries a little extra weight which comes along with its extra width at the throat. It is is about 6-7 grams heavier than the Cobra without the X next to it, which isn't much, but it is measurable.

You need to be careful when putting Cobra heads onto the shaft. It is sometimes a very tight fit.

ROCK-IT POCKET LEATHER: - Our leathers are 100% real hide, which is durable and resistant to water. These leathers are strong and do not sag in humid conditions.

ROCK-IT POCKET & MESH MATERIALS: - We use a high quality nylon string for the middle part of our Rock-it Pockets and the sidewall/trim of our mesh pockets.


Rock-it Pocket Custom Dye Jobs

LACES: - Jima Lax supplies us with colored hockey laces we use on our mesh pockets. These laces can be used on Rock-it Pockets, but we recomend our high quality (default) laces that come only in white.

MESH MATERIAL: - We carry a variaty of hard, soft, 6 diamond, goalie hard and goalie 12 diamond mesh. These are the most common types of mesh used in the game.

By default, our pockets are all strung to meet all regulation for the NFHS (high school and bellow). If you play in NCAA (college) please state so in the special instructions box below and we will make the small adjustment to make it legal for your regulations.
