The Evolution X is made to current specifications that make it legal for use in both NCAA and NFHS play. It uses a design that includes the 3" opening at the throat of the head, but it is very comparable to the old Evolution predecessors in many ways. The Evolution X has plenty of head flexibility. The plastic itself is not that stiff, but the throat does have some reinforcement qualities for added durability. The shaft goes far inside the throat of the head, a full 2 �". There is an X designed into the throat in case you can't remember what kind of head you are using.

The blade on the Evolution X is contoured the same as the older models as far as the plastic mold looks. The Warrior Evolution has always had an efficient design for ball scooping that players seem to like. The holes on the scoop are similar, but not exactly the same as its Evo predecessors. The 4 leather holes are a little bigger and a little closer to the inside edge of the blade.

The Evolutions, and the X is no exception, all for the most aprt set up well to have pockets centered in in the middle of the head or lower. The Rock-it Pocket practically jumps in by itself.

Unlike most Warrior heads, there is no step back at the bottom of the side wall on the Evolution X to protect the strings and help the pocket to hide the ball.

We recommend the Evolution X to midfielders and attack men. The only drawback for putting it on a long pole is the fact that it is a less rigid head model. It is more likely to lose its shape from poke checking or facing off than some of the other heads out there.

ROCK-IT POCKET LEATHER: - Our leathers are 100% real hide, which is durable and resistant to water. These leathers are strong and do not sag in humid conditions.

ROCK-IT POCKET & MESH MATERIALS: - We use a high quality nylon string for the middle part of our Rock-it Pockets and the sidewall/trim of our mesh pockets.

LACES: - Jima Lax supplies us with colored hockey laces we use on our mesh pockets. These laces can be used on Rock-it Pockets, but we recomend our high quality (default) laces that come only in white.

MESH MATERIAL: - We carry a variaty of hard, soft, 6 diamond, goalie hard and goalie 12 diamond mesh. These are the most common types of mesh used in the game.

For ROCK-IT POCKETS ONLY!! Leathers are white by default. No leathers in mesh pockets!

Extra Hockey Laces:

Extra laces will be enclosed with your order for you to string later. These can be used if you have another head/pocket that needs new shooting laces.

NFHS or NCAA:

By default, our pockets are all strung to meet all regulation for the NFHS (high school and bellow). If you play in NCAA (college) please state so in the special instructions box below and we will make the small adjustment to make it legal for your regulations.
