Manufactured for 2005, the Warrior Evo Pro is basically a Warrior Evolution that has been pinched. The style and character of the actual plastic material resembles the material used in the Warrior Finalizer more than it does the old Evolution. The sidewall is straight, not tapered toward the pocket.
The top of the sidewall has an open rather than a pinched catching area. The scoop is nice and flat, with holes to take out weight and open up aerodynamics.
The weight range for the Evo Pro is about 149 grams, making it one of the lightest heads available today. The 6.5" opening makes this head very close to the specifications allowed. Face-off players will want to make sure this one stays within legal limits.
The Evo Pro is likely to be popular with all kinds of players because of its lightness, its modern design, and its overall stiffness and strength. We like this new Warrior head a lot.
