The Warrior Savage II is an entry level head that isn't too offset or pinched for the younger players. It has a relatively good flat scoop and it is a pretty stiff head overall as well.
We like this head, especially for beginners because it isn't as radical as some of the newer head designs. It has a lot of characteristics that make it easier for younger players to learn on. While a lot of entry level heads do not have any offset at all, the Savage has a gradual offset that will introduce the player to the "offset experience" as it were.
The Savage has a deep sidewall that allows for the ball to sit at a maximum depth. Since it has some of, but not all of Warrior's patented curved head technology, younger players will get a good idea of what they are getting themselves into with the new heads. At the same time, it isn't so radical that it becomes hard to use.
